Tiverton Canal 'Whites' were at home today v South Molton 'B' who you just know would be no push over for any side. With one or two regulars seconded to the Blues, it made it tougher experience, with poor Rod placed in as skip, struggling to get the weight on the grassier rink 5. Sadly his side did struggle, but though they dropped a '5' at one point, the remaining ends must have been close as the majority were single shots. They finished 5 - 20. Duncan, who had the Captaincy thrust upon him at short notice, had much better fortunes and they pretty much controlled things, keeping 4 to 6 shot gap between the sides before finishing 16 - 10. So a well earned 2 Points.
