Back from the 'Friendly' match @ home v Coombe Martin today. After some uncertainty with the weather, things got underway, the green strangely not as fast as I had expected, some fine rain and blustery winds didn't help but not sufficient to halt proceedings. Coombe Martin looked to be in the ascendancy in the first half but after Tea, Tiverton Canal made their move and took overall control. Three rinks going Canal's way whilst two went to Coombe Martin but only by 2 and 1 shot respectively. 87 - 68 Shots in favour of Tiverton Canal 😎 Another enjoyable Friendly despite the inclement weather.
