Match Report - 04 Jun 2025, Tiverton Canal Bowling Club Over 60's navy lost to Heavitree
Bit cloudy, a very brief down pour but otherwise dry and warm when sun appeared. Green very good, consistent lines.
Up against some very good players but both Canal sides looked to be going well to take early leads. But matches can turn on a sixpence, as it did in this match. Perhaps complacency crept in, but either way we let the home sides right back in and they took advantage. We fought hard to recover but we just couldn't overcome their hold on both the rinks.
