Match Report - 27 Aug 2025, Tiverton Canal Bowling Club Over 60's navy beat Sidmouth sharks
Navy were looking to get a decent win this afternoon v Sidmouth Sharks 🦈 and it was going well for both triples. However, the Sharks hunted us down somewhat, with both sides looking in danger. Unfortunately, my triple got dragged under, losing a number of costly ends to go 8-15 down. We eventually managed to break free from their jaws and battle back but on the last end, with us holding a 2 shots, their skip somehow dislodged the Jack to get shot and with it, the win 15-17 😭. Stewarts managed to stay just ahead of the Shark attack, 13-12, before securing the last four ends for a 18-12 win 👏 That gives us a 6 point win. Pretty good but so frustrating not to get the full 8 points.
