Match Report - 13 Aug 2025, Tiverton Canal Bowling Club Over 60s Blue lost to Wellington Tigers
Over 60's Blue v Wellington at home resulted in just one point for us. Barry, Alan and Peter fought valiantly but were outdone ending 15 to 26. Rod, Chris and I had a close fought game, which came down to the last bowl. We were 2 up going into the last end and despite Chris knocking their bowl in for shot, we had second wood so set up for winning the game. With his last bowl, their skip played the full length, knocking our wood from six inches away from the ditch, into the ditch and thereby securing 2. So a draw at 20 all which reflects the evenness of the match overall.
