Over 60's Blue's returned with just 1 point from Phear Park today. Dave Hoaen, Barry and Peter fought valiantly to secure a draw at 11 each after 18 ends. With both sides only securing a '2' on two ends it was nip and tuck all the way.
Rod Kevin and Chris found the going tough with too many of our bowls falling short. The long grass, it hadn't been cut since before the weekend, with rain immediately before play, gave a slow green. We managed to get level at 7 all after 9 ends but couldn't keep it up and ended up going down 11 to 20.
