Match Report - 20 May 2026, Tiverton Canal Bowling Club Over 60s Blue lost to Feniton Hawks
The Blue's are continuing to meet the terrible prophecy made after their first game 'it can only be downhill from here'! After drawing last week we lost this week gaining even less points than a UK Eurovision song contest entry....
It was a game of two halves, with Phil Goss, Barry and Pete leading 13 to 5 after 9 ends. Charlie, Kevin Lower and myself were the mirror image- losing 5 to 13. Phil and co were overhauled during their second half to lose by a single point 16 to 17. On the other rink the second half was just as disappointing as the first, ending on a loss of 10 to 21.
Dare I suggest we can only get better???
