Forced to play or concede points when so many matches were sensibly postponed, we hoped our men could make them pay but alas, it proved not to be. It was agreed at the start that 15 ends would be played.
Captain Kevin Finan reported after the match :
"We had a lovely time in the sun, a gentle breeze kept us comfortably warm. The only thing that spoiled it was the bowls!
We are grateful for our players taking on the challenge and very relieved they coped without incident.
