Match Report - 15 Jul 2026, Tiverton Canal Bowling Club Over 60s Blue beat Morchard Bishop B
The Blues made a great effort to drag themselves off the bottom spot this week playing against Morchard Bishop. Our last outing resulted in both rinks drawn so sharing the points. This afternoon looked like following the same route. Phil, Barry and Pete were12 all at the 15th end but after a 4 and a 2 they ended up edging it to an overall win 18 to 13.
Two Kevin's and Chris were tying at 5 points in the game and were 16 all on the 15th end. Despite a well played delivery to take the jack back for a 3 on the 17th end, Morchard Bishop put the jack in the ditch on the last end to level the game at 19 all. So 7 out of 8 points should help our standings as we go into the back end of the fixtures. I can say with certainty that we can only get better....KF
