Match Report - 01 Jul 2026, Tiverton Canal Bowling Club Over 60s white beat Ottery falcons
Wow, what a game the Over 60's White had against top of the table Otter Falcons. Duncan, David & Neville raced into a 20 - 4 lead after 12 ends and then went walk about and lost the last 6, but did end up winning 20 - 15.
Rod, Peter & Alan were the opposite, 5 - 16 down after 11 ends, then woke up and won 6 ends to finish 14 - 17. So a win for Canal and 6 points.
** Keep in mind that this match was played with the back drop of one of our players badly injuring himself after a nasty fall. This resulted in lots of activity for the duration of the match outside the men's changing rooms, with numerous paramedics and others in attendance. Concentration would have been difficult so this equates to an even better result for the team under the circumstances.
